Double-Blind Peer Review Process: Criteria and Guidelines

At Innovation Insights, we uphold the highest standards of academic publishing through a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity and impartiality throughout the evaluation. Neither the authors nor the reviewers are aware of each other’s identities, allowing for an unbiased and rigorous assessment based purely on the merit and quality of the manuscript.

Review Process Criteria

  1. Initial Editorial Screening: All manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial team for scope, formatting, plagiarism (using advanced tools), and basic quality benchmarks.

  2. Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts passing initial screening are assigned to two or more expert reviewers with subject-matter expertise relevant to the manuscript topic.

  3. Evaluation Parameters: Reviewers assess manuscripts on originality, scientific or practical significance, methodological soundness, clarity, and ethical compliance.

  4. Recommendations: Each reviewer submits a recommendation:

    • Accept

    • Minor revision

    • Major revision

    • Reject

  5. Editorial Decision: Based on reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editor makes the final decision. Revisions may be sent for re-review to the same or new reviewers if necessary.

  6. Author Revisions and Final Approval: Authors are required to address reviewer comments point by point. Once revised and re-evaluated, the manuscript is approved for publication.

All reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, publication history, and commitment to ethical reviewing standards.

Five Essential Aspects for High-Quality Manuscripts in Innovation Insights

To be considered for publication, all manuscripts must meet the following five critical criteria:

    1. Originality and Innovation: The research must present original findings, theories, or applications with clear innovation or novel insights in the respective field.

    2. Scientific/Scholarly Rigor: Methodologies must be robust, clearly described, and appropriate for the research question, supported by relevant and current literature.

    3. Relevance and Impact: The manuscript must address a significant issue, contribute meaningfully to knowledge or practice, and align with the scope of multidisciplinary innovation.

    4. Clarity and Structure: The paper must be well-organized, logically structured, and written in clear academic English, with properly formatted references and data presentation.

    5. Ethical Integrity: All research must comply with ethical standards, including appropriate citations, declaration of conflicts of interest, and (if applicable) approval from institutional review boards.
